In the UK, Fuel Cells Works reported that Reliance Green Hydrogen and Green Chemicals, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), and Waaree Clean Energy Solutions were among the companies selected by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) as winners of its latest green hydrogen auction under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Program (Mode-1-Tranche-II).

SECI awarded annual green hydrogen production capacities totaling 450,000 metric tons.

Under Bucket 1, dedicated to technology-agnostic pathways, a combined capacity of 448,500 MT was awarded to multiple companies, including Oriana Power, Suryadeep KA1 Project (InSolare), L&T Energy Green, GH2 Solar, Green Infra Renewable Energy Farms (Sembcorp), Waaree Clean Energy Solutions, AM Green Ammonia, and Reliance Green Hydrogen and Green Chemicals. 

Projects under this auction are expected to commission their full production capacities within 36 months from receiving the letter of award.
